Powerbloc and Powerbloc Dry are ranges of bloc batteries for all applications in small traction from cleaning machines to pallet trucks, industrial electric vehicles, aerial platforms, Automated Guided Vehicles, as well as domestic applications like wheelchairs, golf carts. Constructed with the highest quality materials, the blocs can be recharged with HF or 50 HZ chargers.
Hawker Perfect Plus motive power batteries provide a high level of power and reliability for all industrial truck operations, from simple applications with a low capacity loading up to heavy duty multi-shift work. Hawker Perfect Plus batteries provide higher efficiency in discharge, which is achieved by the use of advanced components in the construction of the positives plates. The sizing of plates has been optimised according to volume available in the cell boxes and the process of filling the positive plates has been improved. All these technical enhancements have enabled an increase in the cell capacities while retaining the same exterior dimensions. All Hawker Perfect Plus cells use the robust tubular vented technology (PzS). The positive electrodes are diecast tubular plates (PzS) and advanced components used in their manufacture provide increased efficiency. The negative plates are flat pasted plates. The separator is of the microporous type. The cell box and lid are made from high impact, temperature resistant polypropylene and are heat-seal welded to prevent electrolyte leakage.

The EnerSys range of PowerSafe V-TT batteries has been designed specifically for use in applications that demand the highest levels of security and reliability. With proven compliance to the most rigorous international standards, PowerSafe V-TT batteries are recognised worldwide as a premium solution for Telecom applications. The reputation of PowerSafe V-TT batteries for long service life, together with excellent high rate performance, also makes them the number one choice for high integrity, high specification UPS systems. PowerSafe V-TT cells and monoblocs deliver superior performance whilst occupying less space than conventional standby power batteries. The use of V-0 rated, flame retardant, ABS plastic for the thick wall containers and lids offers high mechanical strength with excellent safety features. PowerSafe V-TT batteries are designed using proven gas recombination technology that removes the need for regular water addition by controlling the evolution of hydrogen and oxygen during charging. Oxygen evolved at the positive plates diffuses through microporous separators to the negative plates and, by a series of chemical reactions within the cell, recombines to form water. Each cell incorporates its own safety valve that allows the controlled release of gas when pressure builds up within the cell.

BSI 40 communicates with EnerSys HF chargers (Lifetech) and delivers accurate battery status information. The system is ideal for smaller battery fleets where effective battery rotation is business critical. Each BSI 40 unit can interface with up to 160 chargers (40 chargers per panel) and can be configured to manage 1 to 10 battery families. LifeNetwork iQ is the latest state of the art management system to complement new range of Life iQ and Lifespeed IQ high frequency chargers and adds some great new features for the charging room.
